It was shocking to me that Australia went full totalitarian with lockdowns, coerced "vaccinations", and a ban on leaving the country.
I have friends who got stranded in Australia for 2 years and had their lives totally destroyed because the regime refused to let them leave the country. I have others who now have permanent heart damage from a "vaccine" that they didn't want but would lose their job if they didn't get it.
I was lucky enough to be living in totalitarian hong kong where we had none of this.
No one has explained Australia’s decision to pursue a “Covid zero” strategy which was a ludicrous pipedream. That path uprooted the entire country for two years. I couldnt not leave Vic for my uncle’s funeral interstate for example, had to get permission and do quarantine and tests and nonsense bullshit to comply with tyrannical policy which NO ONE questioned. People couldn’t come home. Families were separated. Kids separated from parents. Just utter psychotic nonsense all excused away because of the coordinated fear campaign from gov and the media which was entirely in their pocket.
Seeing how far they went just left me disgusted in this place. Descendants of prison wardens who wanted to enforce the most authoritarian crap the clowns could imagine.
I lost it when Andrews closed the playgrounds. Went and ripped down all the tape and signs and shit only for council to return it the next day only for me to go and rip it all down again the next day until they stopped after a week.
He closed playgrounds because people had picnics on the grass on a warm August day and the news played it up - went on a psycho rant because people were defying him. Banned alcohol because people were drinking outdoors on pub crawls. That was the kind of nutso stuff people were gobbling up.
Will never forget what they did.
