Like, after getting interested in the topic I readed a few main stream articles which I saw were all bullsht because I wasnt learning amything from it, so I searched up how it worked, and I tought it was way to difficult for me, that it was all encryption stuff. But even then, I knew it probably wasnt scam.

I disagree they are grown ups making bad choices and need a taste of reality no matter how brutal the truth is. Part of the reason I questioned shitcoins is the fact they were called shitcoins. Made me question what I was missing.

Everyoneβs journey is different what opened my eyes was lightning, cause Iβve had Bitcoin for a long time bc itβs the main currency to buy & trade rare pepes.. but yeah lightning, being able to do micro payments at the speed of lighting changed it all for me. Knowing that it truly can scale is what shifted my mindset, then I dove into all the podcasts and books..
I see it as it can push some people away. Some people donβt know any better until they do. Judging them only makes them more resistant to understanding and learning.

You can only be cordial for so long before their idiocy forces you to bully them. Part of the problem is that many of them choose alts because they firmly believe bitcoin is βslow, outdated, uselessβ etc. I think thatβs where most of the bullying stems from, is shitcoiners acting like they know more about bitcoin than bitcoiners.

Agreed. Itβs also so situationally dependent. Was talking to a coworker recently and he was trying to explain the uses cases for NFTs. I felt myself getting frustrated and I could see I wasnβt going to change his mind (or his bags) and that it was time to move on.

I don't get it. Why would I ever use my energy on trying to convince someone who want a banana to instead eat a beet root? We are in different worlds. Sure give people who falls for scams and obviously bad ideas a hard time. They are dumb simply because they are dumb and will dumb all day long, not because PoS chains and protocols don't have value moving forward
I effectively persuaded a considerable number of shitcoiners to embrace Bitcoin by tearing apart the flawed shitcoin narratives. Though this was on a large Facebook crypto group I used to admin. Some would characterise my approach as bullying, I would not go that far... however, it was a forceful strategy. I sense that Twitter's shitcoiners already deeply entrenched in their beliefs and are unlikely to be swayed, and it's a lot of wasted energy to try.
