BitWise just became the first Bitcoin ETF to publish their on-chain address. Transparency is key and a large part of Bitcoin's ethos. Kudos to them. You know what? I'm impressed and I hope that others follow their lead.

Why not? It helps their credibility. Security comes from their multisig setup.
they've only published the one address. i wouldn't see why they would want different addresses. that would make transparency harder for them.

They don't need to do this for us. The number of Bitcoin in this wallet matches the daily inflows that they're reporting in their daily reports. It would be weird as fuck to find a random address and claim it as your own and hope that it matches the volume of your regulated trades.
