I hear from a lot of bitcoiners how terrible public schools are. This is the opposite of my experience. I thrived in public school. My kids' school is awesome. I don't wanna get too specific but they have an educational opportunity that I never would have expected. We just happened to move to the right school district.

OTOH I know some unschoolers who are effectively destroying their kids' life opportunities by denying them a modern education. IMO it is tantamount to child abuse. Again, not gonna get specific.

Bitcoiners generally misrepresent the situation. "Public school bad" is a lazy, bad take. There is a vast range of educational experience, positive and negative, available both in and out of public schools.
