Agreed. I boo bands when they shill Spotify (I’m the one at F/O/H mixing them). Everyone knows about that company, they don’t need us advertising them. We need to support systems that get folks who paid for their labour.

I respond wayyy more positive when they promo their own merch/bandcamp/website, y’know any system that gets them paid.

Actually see fewer musicians mention Spotify when performing now. Win.
