On the bright side, they’re only inconvenient on days that end in “Y”.
they can. they just don’t want to:
- lazy
- easier to manipulate markets
- you’ll usually wait till Friday after markets close to do bank sweeps, liquidity injections, etc. to gain enough trust by Monday to prevent needing to use the circuit breakers as much
