Not sure... I have channels open and have been both sending and receiving zaps on Amethyst just fine.
It seems Spring Browser just isn't recognizing the connection string, and unfortunately it doesn't have an option to scan a QR code instead.

Hey, we just tested Spring with Alby Hub's NWC, and works sweetly like a charm!
Maybe you should try updating the app? (both Hub and Spring is recommended)
Are you pasting full connection secret in form nostr+walletconnect://..... ?
Definitely running the latest version of Spring, as it hasn't had an update since December.
Just installed Alby Hub last week, but I am sure you guys are actively pumping out updates so I will check to make sure I am on the latest version when I get home tonight.
I am copying the entire connection string, starting with nostr+walletconnect://, over to Spring and it just tells me it is invalid.
😞 Any #Spring devs out here?
"At my home it works!"
Happy to report that I got this working!
Rather than trying to do NWC directly from Alby Hub on my node, I just logged into my Alby account and set up the NWC connection there. No issues.
Interesting. Could you please confirm that you have channels open? Do NWC connections directly from Hub work for you elsewhere?
Thank you for troubleshooting!
Yes, I set up a NWC connection from Alby Hub to Amethyst with zero issues for in-app zapping. But, with Amethyst I could scan the QR, so I didn't have to copy the connection string on one device, send it to the device I have Spring installed on, and paste it there.
