Is this notation of for images a thing? I thought Markdown's image preview was supposed to be ![](url). Is the idea to render everything around <> as an image?

Does that work on all clients?

Not really. It's up to the developer to decide which Markdown version to support. On top of that each client has different approach to embedding Nostr-native events.

Here's a breakdown of how Habla does this: https://lnshort.it/habla-features/

They seem to be for a certain MD formatting syntax. The thing is I compose my guides in a separate editor and then convert them using https://euangoddard.github.io/clipboard2markdown/ This is the simplest tool i found to be able to copy-paste the text and receive an MD file. Until i found it I didn't know can work, but Habla supports it šŸ˜

I know, that other long-form platforms do not recognize this, so I normally manually replace with ![](img.jpg), but I was in a rush yesterday, so I decided to leave it as is for now and edit later. But I forgot all about Amethyst and that it supports long-form posts too (just found out day before yesterday).

Sorry I messed up your feed, fellow Android friends. Won't happen again šŸ’œ.

Fixed image url formatting to be supported by all platforms. Unfortunately, the post that appeared on Amethyst will probably stay as is without displaying images.
