Does that work on all clients?
Not really. It's up to the developer to decide which Markdown version to support. On top of that each client has different approach to embedding Nostr-native events.

They seem to be for a certain MD formatting syntax. The thing is I compose my guides in a separate editor and then convert them using https://euangoddard.github.io/clipboard2markdown/ This is the simplest tool i found to be able to copy-paste the text and receive an MD file. Until i found it I didn't know
