Hey #foodstr and #mealprepstr
What are your favourite freezer-friendly meal prep dishes?
Some examples from me:

My kids love various kinds of rice with different ingredients in them so we freeze them and warm up for an easy meal. Sometimes they won’t eat the thing we made at that time so it’s a good backup.
Other than that we freeze spaghetti meat sauce for quick lunches.
Great ideas! Reheatable homemade frozen dinners are so important to have when your kids have worn you out and you’re too tired or uninspired to cook something.
I don’t freeze too much personally.
Prefer fresh if possible. But your „business“ looks very serious 🔥👍🏽
Pre-seasoned raw steak in a vacuum sealed bag.
90 minutes at your preferred Sous Vide temp and it is ready to sear, 60 seconds later on your plate. Frozen solid to perfectly cooked in 91 minutes only of which 2-3 require your attention.
And if you let it run an extra hour because you get busy, nothing bad happens.
We prep all sorts of meals this way, pork, beef, lamb. Only need to clean our plates after if we use the grill or one cast iron pan.
I keep 2 cup pyrex containers. Most things I cook in a crock pot or baking dish, I make extra. We put the leftovers in the pyrex containers. They can usually stay in the refrigerator for a week or in the freezer for longer. Then leftovers work for lunches or when a family member is eating alone because the rest of the family is busy.
Some of the things I do this with are smoked turkey leg soup, salsa meat (chicken, pork, beef, or elk) casserole, seafood bisque, keto gumbo, jalapenYum, etc. I don't eat these things anymore, but we will also do the same with homemade mac & cheese with sausage & broccoli or spaghetti and meatsauce with veggies.
