Seems like these defense start ups like Palantir are offering to bolster defense while doing it with only spending 10% of current defense budget. The trade off will inevitably be more surveillance. The argument will be we need to use the A.I. systems to drastically reduce our budget, which is probably true. But the cost to human freedom could be greater.
