We've had a couple of nice clear days recently in the UK where any air traffic just emitted normal contrails that soon evaporated and left no trace, now we're back to this, white streaks all over the sky that linger and slowly spread out leaving a sky full of hazy 💩 that blocks direct sunlight.

What is this stuff? What's the consequences on biodiversity? Will traces of this stuff inevitably make its way into our food & water supply, are people breathing this stuff in?
