No. Curate your relays and follow hashtags to find topics you’re interested in and like to contribute to. You’ll get high quality engagement over time if you contribute valuable content/perspectives. It takes more work than traditional social media because there are minimal algorithms to steer traffic. That’s the worthwhile trade off imo. Many current social media algorithms boost fear/doom/controversy sensationalism. Which incentivizes lies and fraud. Plus they can be changed overnight by a few people who answer to the state. Aka censorship.
