I did. Think I’m going to try a different client tomorrow to see if it has better connectivity options.

Lightning network is tricky. When you open a channel you technically have no receive capacity can only send. So you would have to swap out to have receive capacity. Its a bit technical for new people. nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg client has a wallet built it kind of makes it easy if you want to try that out to start. Can always change it later.

So is it best not to use alby? And how does one swap if the wallet is 0?

I think on alby you have to set up lightning channels which is a little more complex. If you dont know how to do that I would recommend getting a lightning address through nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg or wallet of satoshis as they manage this for you before leveling up to running your own node or using a self sovereign option like Zeus wallet.
