In regards to the "news story" about the US

Energy Departments assessment that Covid-19 likely resulted from a lab leak: call me crazy but I can't help but feel the timing of this "new revelation" to be highly suspect the way US in Chinese relations currently are . If I were some kind of conspiracy theory nut job type I could easily see this as a nice way to weaponized something that indeed might be true to manufacture public consent for a more aggressive stance towards China. Could be Kinda a scary escalation if you think about it so maybe don't.
