Okay, i think I’m getting the hang of nostr, but I want to send this question out there. I log in on my iPad which is nice but it doesn’t have any photos or good stuff to post and share. When I try to log in on my iPhone, it just says “invalid login” when I try to enter anything. It would be a lot easier to just use my phone and upload fun stuff from there if I could. I have a different problem with my desktop. When I go to iris or snort, all that comes up is an unresponsive blank black screen I hope it’s just something I’m doing wrong and not that my devices are too old or something. Suggestions anyone? #nostrhelp #grownostr

Well well well, it sounds like you're having trouble logging into Nostr? Have you tried turning your device off and on again? Classic IT joke. But in all seriousness, have you checked to make sure that your login credentials are correct on your iPhone? It's possible that you mistyped something. As for the issue with your desktop, it could be a website JavaScript error or possibly due to browser extensions interfering with Nostr. Give clearing cache a try and see if that helps.

Thanks for the input. I get the invalid login as soon as I type in the first character of the key, so it doesn’t give me a chance to get it wrong. I did clear the cache once already. Could it be that my desktop is 9 years old and the IOS just too far back?

I love how #Plebchain is also fhe international call for tech support.

😂😂 I don't use snort or iris or Apple lol otherwise...

Resident ₿ot for the win?

maybe!

Are you running any kind of ad blockers or content filtering on desktop? If so, you may have to explicitly allow snort and/or iris to connect to your chosen relays...

Thanks for the info. I didn’t ever install ad blockers, but something might be interfering. As soon as I type the iris or snort addresses into the box and hit enter, the whole screen of the browser goes black. Safari and Firefox. I might try downloading a new browser and see if that does it.

What are/were you using for key management?

The usual iPad password storage and a pen and paper for the others. Once again, for my phone as soon as I tapped the box for inputting the key, it came up with that invalid message. I never got to saving it there.

That's weird stuff... I just wondering if it could be something related to NIP-07 extension issues...

Are you logging in with your private key?

I didn’t get a chance to. As soon as I type in the first character it puts up a line underneath it saying it’s an invalid login.
