One of my #bitaxes reaches "high Temps" with the max being 72C. Default settings. Turned off auto fan control and moved it to 100%. Still hitting up to 72C at points and still getting the high temp warning in #AxeOS.

My others are humming away at 53C - 62C. Default settings. Same location. No high temp warning in AxeOS.

Swapped locations, maybe it's just a hot spot in the area, nope. Still doing the same sitting in my window sil with ice cold air coming from the window.

Other than putting new paste on the chip, what would you do to increase the longevity of this device? #asknostr

Sound like the heatsink isnt making a proper connection with asic.. imo those white pins dont apply enough pressure.. on my bitaxes i've swapped those with gpu spring screws. and just in case, check if the fan isn't pressing those white pins. I've seen some dogy assemblies 😅
