#Bitcoiners love to pretend they're anti-government but I've seen exactly ZERO people criticizing anything #Buykele has done in #ElSalvador which makes me suspicious. Are people simply overlooking everything he does because he claims to support #Bitcoin? His rise to power seemed quite violent and inorganic, can anyone give me a detailed nuanced report on his rise to power? Im willing to be convinced hes a good guy, I believed that narrative without question initially.

For people who chose not to commit violent crimes or steal other people’s private property, #ElSalvador was the most dangerous place. Now for those people El Salvador is one of the most safe places where they can live in peace and you’re struggling to label the government good or bad?

Perfect synopsis, thank you really! No my concern is not the narrative, it's whether or not the narrative is true or not and how one could go about verifying that. The "narrative" in bitcoin is "dont trust, verify" right? So lets assume we can do so, how to verify the situation in ElSalvador is not a time bomb?
