As an aspiring #Bitcoin educator, I am witnessing what Arthur Schopenhauer's work reveals.
Per Schopenhauer, most people lack the cognitive ability (the intellectual architecture) to think independently (paraphrasing).
They simply cannot understand a topic regardless of how when you explain or position the evidence and your logical extension from the evidence.
So, they fall back on memorization and dogma to engage conversation based on what they “believe/feel”. You cannot change them. They must change themselves.
This ties into the Dunning Kruger Effect: “…the less competent a person is on a topic, the more confidence they assert/display their position.” Confidence without competence.
So for our sanity, we must recognize when we have reached the cognitive limit of the person we seek to “Orange Pill”.
Overcoming this obstacle , as it pertains to Bitcoin, is the next step if we hope to see mass adoption of Bitcoin.
