Organic reach on yt is almost non-existent at this point, without promoting the video at the right places you just gen very few views (if any). Or you have to pay to yt 😬 to recommend the video more. At least that's my experience.

Are there any better platforms?
Different platforms won't help you to put significantly more eyes on your content, unless there is a specific one where you have some large following for some reason.
What helps somewhat is the payola and clever spamming of the social media where you already have some followers. I'm no expert in this, but you can look at people who are successful with their podcasts, what they do? I see a lot of snippets (short video edits) with surprising or otherwise engaging quotes that make people want to see/hear more (and follow the conveniently placed links). Not everyone catches the original "airing" or miss the announcement in the feed, so some repetition in reminders make sense (but don't spam too much, it can get annoying).
Yep, a lot of work and perhaps someone more experienced in it will correct me.
