Skating much more likely to create expensive medical bills though imo

not sure where this 2% comes from, not that many places you can be on a skateboard that close to water

if you are overconfident maybe... i never even really tried to master ramp skating because first few times i dropped in i broke my wrist, that was that, oh, and another time, i ended up with a huge laceration in my right hand
so i stuck to the flat and the curbs and the benches, and got really good at that stuff

Lol. But seriously you are orders of magnitude more likely to hit a pebble and eat shit while skating that to get attacked by a shark while surfing

yes but when you make a mistake in the surf you can break your neck much easier
getting gravel rash or a broken bone is nothing compared to paralysis

just like it's safer in a commercial passenger plane than in a car, i'd bet it's a rare event
if i was a skydiver i'd have the backup AND a flightsuit in case both fail, in case i happen to have the possibility to head to a body of water at a low angle
flight suits didn't exist in 1990, but I've got another friend from Alaska that has some insane videos from his crazy-ass stunts.
I'm attracted to extremes, lol, probably why I'm here.

yeah, i think that flightsuits should be a third failure backup for parachuting, it would greatly increase your chances of finding a soft place to land, and has a very low catastrophic failure risk compared to a parachute, like one in million type of probability of the webs tearing off
