We have chickens for eggs and meat, goats (milk) and seasonally pigs.

I'm still amazed that you already have tomatoes and melons from your neighbour...are they from a greenhouse?

No, no greenhouse. Tomatoes and peppers grow here all year. The melon came at a surprise but it's very small so I guess it's an early one.

I also get eggs every week and since you have chicken yourself you know that those eggs can't even be compared to what they're selling in supermarkets as eggs these days.

We have goats too. Our area is famous for it's goat cheese though I'm not a big fan of goat milk or cheese. It's like the only cheese you get around here currado, semi-currado or plain. But it's all the same cheese 😆

Nice!

I sometimes make fresh cheese from my goats' milk.

Most people are surprised by the very mild taste of it.

Nice! Have you ever made cheesecake with it? They make it over here and it's actually really nice.

I haven't! It's a very good idea though.
