I mean a Bitcoin mine, as literallly as possible, does create value.

Government creates a problem.

Give government more power to fix problem.

Government creates a new problem trying to fix the problem.

Give government more power to fix problem. Government creates a new problem trying to fix the problem.

Give government more power…

One caveat here, it looks like this miner took the cheap route with regards to any sound dampening. Found some social media posts from residents complaining about the noise.

It's on these miners to be good stewards of the local communities they are operating in. Had they done that, it may have gone differently.

I agree with you that miners need to be good stewards of the communities they operate. A silver lining of this case is now we have anecdotal evidence to show anti-miner activist groups (which are usually organized on a hyper local level) the immediate impacts to their wallets when a large energy load system comes off grid

and why, oh why, still with the 60mm fans

this is pinching pennies while you are minting dollars

They, as the saying goes, fucked around…

But the most insane-o infuriating thing about it: it’s mostly about sound—which is just a technical implementation issue.

These people need to have some serious fun staying poor with their flashy new, soul-sucking, nature-wrecking wind park towering over their previously gorgeous hilltops.
