My son used to have a severe food allergy and I switched to soya milk in the hope of reducing the allergic syndrome. It didn't help much, but I can still remember the looks on people's faces when I ordered the stuff in the supermarket or elsewhere on the street.

25 years ago, most people didn't even know what a food allergy was. Everyone just looked in horror at the buggy and thought Freddy Krueger was hiding under the blanket. 😂
By the way, today he is allergy-free as far as foods containing allergens are concerned. Simply unimaginable back then!
