The whole "follow me for zaps" shit is annoying. Whenever I see something like that I generally just ignore it. But it deff rubs me the wrong way.

I mute them outright

I should start doing that. Simple and it cleans the feed.

Yep. Usually, all it takes is a cursory vetting to see if the account is a v4v "giveaway" or a classic bait and switch "takeaway"
