Politics in my native country can be so entertaining. We share these types of videos on Whatsapp like people share memes on nostr, and in the spirit of keeping nostr weird I'm going to share a couple here too... LoL.
November 6th, celebration of the 41st anniversary of Paul Biya as président. I suspect the ceremony is somewhere in France, likely in Paris, with the diaspora. The loud lady holding two bottles of Champagne, and wearing the party's uniform with the effigy of the president sings: "Paul Biya, our president, father of the nation, 100 more years (as president)." Later, she's heard saying in Cameroonian French "il ne va que caler," meaning, he'll stay in power forever.
Obviously, with 85+ years, Paul Biya is not going to live another 100 years. What they expect is that his son (showing up at the end of the video) will take over and continue the ”democratic dynasty”
These videos are not just for collective entertainment, but are purposefully released by the "Deep State" to prepare the masses for the transition of power from father to son.
