Indie music peaked in 2014 when I was moshing and watching Mac DeMarco hang from the rafters upside down at the Middle East in Cambridge, MA
Those were wild college days man. Wouldn’t change it for the world, but also glad I don’t do that anymore 😂

Hahhaa. His early stuff was a bit wilder and his concerts would be a lot of improv
I saw an album named Salad Days, which reminded me of my era…Minor Threat’s album of the same name. “Indie” wasn’t a term back then, we had punk rock, hardcore, post-punk, goth, new wave etc. First show I moshed at (but we called it slamming or slam dancing) was Black Flag, 1985 I think.
