fluoride might be good for your teeth, but it is also a neurotoxin, so you don't want to ingest it. It is hard to put on your teeth and not swallow any.

I've heard that theobromine can do the same thing as fluoride without the side effects, but even theobromine isn't really supposed to be ingested.

Agreed. Fluoride can have all sorts of impacts if ingested. I use a mouthwash like Act, and don't ingest it.

I always thought it was odd that the excuse for fluoride in the drinking water was for teeth health. Fluoride needs to be applied to the enamel to be effective. Drinking it doesn't strengthen teeth. Even at the dentist they have you spit out the fluoride paste. It's analogous to drinking a bottle of spf 50 and explaining that it will help prevent sunburns... 🤣
