Dear NOSTR/Bitcoin Core Developers,

This is a thank you note. To you. Keep going. Chin up. You are critical and appreciated.

As a long time code pounding developer, now off the hamster wheel, I know how many of you feel. It's tough to be a developer, the negativity, the bashing, the wet blankets thrown right away on your fire idea. I feel for you. Developers are SO important. In the restaurant, there is a term FOH/BOH (Front of House, Back of House).

Developers are BOH, the cooks, the ones doing all the heavy lifting, if the food is crap, the FOH doesn't get their tips. But why don't the cooks get the tips?

Developers do it because of the code, the thrill, the solutions, the logic, but most bosses never will look at your code or understand, so it is a game.

Now, couple that with other Developers, I dreaded 'Code Review' at times because most of the time the feedback was utter CRAP. Damn near opinion or semantics. Ever wonder why Developers can't stand working with QA or Code Management? Seriously, when the effort to make the change is 5 seconds, but you know there will be hours of paperwork and ridiculous meetings and installs over the weekend?

So, with Open Source, I know some of this won't resonate, THANK GOD, but the Bitcoin Core and NOSTR development is made of a lot more Hell, than Heaven..

You have to dig within, for the motivation, but it will probably only be intrinsic and not extrinsic (money), temporarily, perhaps never at all.

It's frustrating as Hell, hearing Jack explain how none of the top Tech has given back to Open Source when Open Source code, was the top chefs in the world coding.

All I can think of, all the time, when it comes to Satoshi, is thank God he didn't go through the normal Coding Life Cycle, Alpha..Beta...then production.

He went right to production. I did it all the time...SHHHHHHH

Sometimes you have to be a Gangsta coding BAD ASS.

Thanks NOSTR/Bitcoin Core developers, I hope to give back to you some day, some how.

BOH/Developer/Thankless/Chefs <--- Most appreciated, most important, but a small subset of us understand completely. Keep going.
