The Western mind has not the ability nor the will to understand history or the the ancient cultures that precede it's own era.
Sadly true.
And these days "ancient history" extends into the 1990s :-p
Our owners set the needle on the record, wherever works for them.
It's not a matter of ownership or control.
The information is easily available.
It's a foundational failure to even realize that there are other values and perspectives outside their own.
Just the idea of another religion, or another way of government, being acceptable for a group of people to have, forever, is outside the scope of acceptability, for those people.
