📕 I take part of the title of my thesis: Bitcoin and energy... but which energy?

🔥 The energy most often referred to is nuclear energy, which has been the subject of heated debate and controversy for decades, but its role in the global energy transition is now more relevant than ever.

📄 With the ratification of the Paris Agreement and the goals of the European Green Deal, nuclear power is recognized as one of the key energy sources for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and ensuring a stable and reliable electricity system.

☢️ However, issues related to safety, plant construction costs and waste management continue to raise questions about its true sustainability.

❓️But, is it really?

📶 Stay tuned.

You can't get rid of fossil fuel based energy without nuclear energy. The sooner policy makers realize this, the sooner solutions to the tails recycling and waste-storing will be researched.

Absolutely, and I will tell you more: the safest and cheapest way to store nuclear waste (better known as "spent fuel") already exists. In fact, in the following posts on my studies, we will also analyze this aspect.
