Does it work if I zap my own note?
Been loving the “most zapped in 4 hours” browsing option in nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg
What’s so fascinating is that often a post I interacted with is at the top
Spraying around 1000 sats (0.60$ aud) means that the note makes that category
1 - we’re so bloody early on this thing
2 - imagine what it will be like when the most zapped note is getting 10x that value (or 100x)
3 - it will be like a live ticker on the most valuable digital information globally
4 - instead of an algorithm catering content to my “attention” it is sound money payments
Really is mind-blowing the more I use and interact with Nostr

Good question. I guess everybody could set up a second profile and zap from there. This might become an issue in the future.
Yeah you could have a bunch of feeder accounts I guess. Stimulating engagement
But you would be robbing Peter to pay Paul to some extent... Very similar to the tactics of a 2n account to retweet or share etc
Thing is I could just send all the zaps back to my wallet and do this indefinitely. Or at least enough to always be on top of “most zapped”

One day, I could envisage the amount of sats needed to enter the “most zapped” would make it unfeasible
