Yes, because you're not following anyone.
I have followed a bunch of people, and a bunch of different hash tags. However, it doesn’t seem to have any effect.
I just checked your relay list and they are only transmitting a few notes.
I'm not sure why that is but it looks like it's the reason for your problem.
Perhaps adding more relays or uninstalling Damus and then reinstalling it again might help.
