I am an Amethyst fanboy, been using it since the early days this winter and I love it.

I forced myself to use plebstr for the past two weeks and I gotta admit: amethyst is richer in features, it has a familiar vibe and it works.

But Plebstr works just as well, if not better, it's smoother and the UI is superior.

The only downside is the code, I'd love it to be open, but the people behind it promised to release it at some point, so 🤞

Gotta love the nostr devs, all of them 💜💜💜

That’s what’s stopping me from using it, I don’t want to be rugpulled off my nsec.

I know the guys from back when I used Tweetoshi, they're cool.

But I see your point, don't trust, always verify.

How could that happen?

Depends on the login method they are using, if you’re entering your nsec, then they could just send it over to their servers and your nsec is not your nsec anymore, if it’s a signer, it could potentially be abused if you give it access for always

I have so much to learn lol

It’s new for all of us, I started feb 😂

I started on december, but I am an absolute newbie. I don't know what half of thos nips mean

How can anyone there’s a new one every week 😂

Yeah like ehy guys I just implemented nip56 you can now access your grandma's pacemaker using your own relay, no more trusted third party, like bruh wtf slow down, I am barely understanding now nip05

😂🤣🤣

My issue with Amethyst and other Android app wallets is they default to only opening the wallet link when you try to zap a post. I keep everything related to money in a separate container on android and thus can't open a wallet from where my social media apps are kept. I wish it would give a copy LN url option. On desktop clients it pops up the qr code so I do zaps from there.
