Im working on something for pubs which I'll share this week once the site is done, which led the conversation to churches. Im hoping the pub project can form a useful example π€

My community transitionned from bitcoin.
nostr:npub1jlrs53pkdfjnts29kveljul2sm0actt6n8dxrrzqcersttvcuv3qdjynqn is trying to do this I believe. I believe this is one of his goals, to build Nostr / Coracle to a point where he can migrate his church group from Facebook.

That's a terrific idea Christian's are getting a bad rap worldwide tis past few years it's not fair.
As soon as people start wanting to tithe in bitcoin, churches will figure out how to accept it
There are already some that accept bitcoin but convert it to $ as soon as they receive it

I haven't been able to do something like this yet...but it will happen. I'm educating some people about bitcoin and nostr...and it's slow going...lots of parallels with making disciples
