A gold asset issued like pax gold or other would be cool. I keep part of my holding I. Vault Gold (allocated storage) and always think it would be better controlled with a contract or asset capable block/side chain like liquid or xlm.

Liquid it's my refuge in times of very high fees, I don't like keeping my sats in lightning custodial wallets.
What would you say about Taproot assets vs Liquid. Seems to me Taproot assets is adding a lot of extra noise to the bitcoin blockchain for something y'all already do in a side chain solution.
