can jerkey be made just with meat and salt? or does it have the additive you use to get it to preserve long term and have a certain texture?
How to get my low sugar jerky with SATS:
1. Go to my website ketolish.us/ and click on Shop > Low Sugar Jerky
2. Add items to your cart and choose "Zap sats" at checkout to receive a lightning invoice via email. Orders are processed and shipped within 3-4 business days.
3. Enjoy meat treats in yo mouf
I promise to have better product pics soon, but to be fair, jerky has never been photogenic, in my experience. #jerky https://ketolish.us/buy-low-carb-beef-jerky-online/
Discussion
Go to the link above and scroll down to where the FAQ section is and look for "What is allulose?" and you'll see how to order without the allulose.
Copied from my website:
_______________________
Allulose in this recipe is used with a few drops of pure unsulphured blackstrap molasses (1/8 tsp per pound of meat) to create a combination that mimics the taste and properties of brown sugar (non-diabetics would not know the difference, but it is safer for diabetics and people with insulin resistance).
I can leave Allulose out and leave in the molasses. However, your product will not be as soft and chewy, it will be slightly more dry in texture.
If you prefer not to have this ingredient added to your order, please put indicate this in your order notes box (under the shipping section of the checkout page) and make sure you order 4 packages minimum of each flavor that you don't want Allulose included in, since I do not make jerky one package at a time. Molasses only will be used, and no Allulose will be added to your jerky.
