Cows not being human is the reason; those of us who would view eating a cow the same as cannibalism are dangerous to society. They don’t respect the sanctity of humanity
"Sanctity of humanity" is a human construct with no real meaning. You feel there is sanctity in that group because you are a part of it. But there is none. We are animals, 3 meals away from killing and eating each other, if that is what it takes to survive.
There *is* sanctity in a group because I’m part of it. All the winning groups of people and animals feel the same way.
