Without donations or wealthy sponsors, this nostr experiment is destined to fail. Unless people start running their own public relays. How can you pay $$$ for hosting with zero ad revenue?

Damus is probably gone by next year unfortunately. Like I have said a few times before - this is not sustainable without donations or advertising. Seems like some notable people on this platform are already losing interest.
