Big benefit they have is ease of adoption/onboarding compared to nostr & more freedom in terms of what you can post compared to threads I guess

Solving issues from both sides a bit, it seems. I wonder if nostr’s relay model will help guard against an eternal september kind of issue… at least with regard to social uses of the protocol…
Like, if there’s a huge wave of adoption, perhaps there will be the “mainstream” relays with majority of data, and then smaller communities that are based around specific relays and follow lists. Hopefully, a way to tune out some of the noise that’s inherent in social media.
