i have heard a couple of higher profile 'freedom' people talking about Qortal this week, so i went to take a look.

its a blockchain, with its own token, and the only interface is a gigantic Node.js blob crammed into Electron. The nodes have a specialized Kernel, which was developed by a guy who is leaving the project because he got a high paying 5 year contract elsewhere.

not feeling hopeful for the project, or the many well meaning people getting on board.
