In Critical Theory, everything is political.

The goal is to break down western values and culture.

Pick anything. View it through a critcal theory lens (class, race, sex, gender, etc.). Identify the oppressor group. Identify the oppressed group. Vilify the oppressor and marginalize it. Continue to the next thing.

The current oppressor is the US political right. They have already been vilified and marginalized, so if there is some element of culture you want to break down, label it right-wing. Then, it becomes guilty by association.

No need for debate. In fact, the strategy of vilification is to avoid debate.
