Make lightning sovereign again! I'm planning on finally spinning up a lightning node this winter once the harvest season is over here at the homestead. I often think about how the vast majority of my transactions are with people irl p2p. I think it makes sense to open channels directly with these folks in a "ring of fire". I don't hear much talk about these rings of fire anymore, if you haven't heard of the concept it's a really cool way to balance lightning liquidity amongst fellow node running peers.
