The best way I've found to get a following is to be involved in the notes (a kind of social media) although I can't say I'm the best person to ask. I've been on around a year and have 71 subscribers (get emails for my posts) and 190 followers. When I got more involved in notes and subscribed/followed more people, my substack started growing more. I do like it though.
