interesting, will take you much longer to hit a block but it's doable. Pooling will give you some fair rewards, and one's like supportxmr are paying out the tari rewards as well
I don't have pooling option on my node
You need to run xmrig or the monero GUI wallet if you want to mine.
Mining solo is doable, and unlike pool mining the regards take longer.
Whether you mine solo or in a pool, the rewards will be the same for your hashrate, just the time to get the rewards would be longer. ..
Doesn't 'running a node' mean, that you download all the coins? I'm confused 🤔

You downloaded the blockchain. If you want to mine, you can use that node and run the monero GUI wallet or if you want you can use a pool using xmrig.
Ultimately, if you have the node you can mine solo if you want
