A bit of a primadona post from you Odell. Friendship only really holds up when incentives are aligned. What were you expecting? For something deeper than that you need family. (And even then...)

In Odell's defense I think he is a very humble man at heart, who has forayed into a social life with heavy ladder climbing culture. It's hard to not let it seep into you a bit.
I have suffered from this myself though, with friends and sadly even family from "prior lives". Life moves so fast in some ways...
Anyways, Your point about aligned incentives (even with family) resonated with my experience and gave me clarity that was still a bit fuzzy on. So, thank you!
