Do you prefer Bisq over Robosats?

Honest question.

I have used both and I'm undecided.

What I like about Robosats: I can use it from my phone and it's faster thanks to lightning.

What I dislike about both is 5 percent premium...

But, of course, this is determined by the market, not the P2P exchanges and I guess this is a price to pay if I don't want our freedom-loving rights-respecting governments to know I have Bitcoin...

However, something tells me they can find out anyway. After all, how hard is it to monitor bank accounts of known Bitcoin P2P sellers and see who is paying them?

And if there is no way to hide, other than face-to-face cash, then maybe just as well use centralized exchanges with soft KYC like pocket Bitcoin or relai?

Thinking aloud. Your thoughts?

This is not a criticism of Bisq.

I strongly support it and have used it many times.

This is just a discussion about buying methods.

Hey,

good to see likeminded people here.

honestly i don't know #robosats yet. Just heard and would maybe try someday.

I did a lot of search when i started to replan my financials and did not came across #Bisq from the start.

Bought my first #sats on a cash machine abroad. So this is mainly why i prefere Bisq to not have to drive 1000km to buy #Bitcoin.

Totally agree with you that the fees suck at a point. But this is market. I could manage to get the seller fees under 2% for most trades plus the network fees. So therefor is ok but the valuation of Bitcoin is mostly higher than the avarage calculated so not a good place for buyers who want to save a penny.

But beeing in europe under nowadays lae it is a nobrainer.

You don't want them to know you hold BTC!

You're right they could theoretically guess you hold. But guessing is not enough i hope.

Otherwise will go out of europe.

You really need to make sure you stay #anon

Yes ...

Think it is good you have Robosats.

We need to support all p2p plattforms.
