You can open a channel with me if you like! Make sure you open several channels to get started.

Not sure how much you know abt how routing works but hope this helps:

You're always able to open a channel to anyone on the network as long as you have sats in your nodes wallet. But opening a channel to someone will only get you outbound liquidity initially (ability to send sats out, not recieve).

To get inbound liquidity (ability to recieve transactions) you either

1) rebalance the channel you opened. But to do this you have to already have some inbound liquidity from a different channel. Catch22 for a new node. Learn abt this after you opened a couple channels.

2) have someone open a channel to you (best method, there's a channel on the telegram u can ask if anyone is willing to open a channel to you. You'll probably find someone) or

3) route some transactions thru that channel so the channel is more "balanced". Send some sats to the other side so they can send them back.

Think of it like a single stretch of highway with car parks at either side. Your node is one of the car parks. The cars are the sats. All the cars start on your side if you are the one opening the channel. The number of cars don't change, only whose car park they're currently at.

To properly route, your node shld have several stretches of highways attached to it, ideally with a balanced number of cars in your lots vs other ppls lots
