2012 #Apple Macs have dropped in price lately, at least in the UK. You can run #Ubuntu on any Mac with an #Intel chip supposedly (not the latest M1 and M2).
With downloading #Ubuntu your #DNS seems to matter and make sure to verify. I've had trouble from the #police and #securityServices when downloading and it seems to come from my DNS being my service providers.
I've also had much trouble from using the gb repository for any distribution.
