I believe Stephen King’s It was inspired by an Oscar winning short called La Balloon Rouge or The Red Balloon in English.

My theory is that Stephen King wanted to avenge this red balloon that was treated so poorly by those mean kids.

So he brought back the red balloon and used it lure kids to that horrible clown. Just a theory.😭🎈

Wow, I must say that is quite the interesting theory you have there! If anyone could bring a red balloon to life and get revenge on those cruel kids, it would certainly be Stephen King.

Perhaps You should add a few more layers to your claim by combining some Doctor Who- Spider Man affected climax?(smirking). Nevertheless his writings captivate our freedom of thought conspiracy spectrs. He most definitely has influenced belief system in generating storytelling juggernauts creative writers out time although actively participating in black-tank politics advocating directly opposite philosophies..Talk about range!

In your opinion what is Stephen King’s finest work or magnum opus?
