Trying to wrap my mind around ecash. Why better than lightning? Anonymity?
to be honest I'm still trying to figure out the best use case. I think I remember Mayne Calle saying businesses could potentially use such a system to give coupons to customers without having to know who they're giving to. I'm still a noob myself 😂🤙⚡️

on redeem.cashu.me it is as simple as pasting the LONG string I posted, and then pasting a receiving LN invoice.
minting the ecash is basically the opposite. tell the mint how many tokens I'd like; it creates an invoice to be paid. after invoice paid, press "mint". satoshis become spendable ecash.
NOTE: this is not production ready software and probably has bugs. but it's fun to play with 😂🤙
